The Republic of South Sudan; This is my Independence

Interview by Nairobi's Buzz earlier in the year
The celebrations here are in full mode, there is loads of fun and excitement everywhere;peoples are very eager for the declaration of independence on 9th July 2011 and I would like to share the following with every one of you;

We all hope to build a new state blessed by the Almighty; free from corruption, slavery, marginalization and tribalism.
We will develop a free and fair state,a state which the government is for the people,by the people.
We will be the central point of African countries.

Personally I am going to bring a new page for the youth, for their future.

Peace to friends of the Republic of South Sudan, to all those who helped during the war,
Peace to the mediators and international community; without you we would not be here and no one will recognize this day,we will be together and work with you in the long term,
Respect to all our martyrs; because of you, we will remain unshakable,
We will build our dignity on solid ground, creating unity for all Sudanese youth.

Our people and the country we fought for are our priority and protecting that is our pride.

Peace to all.

We are 2 days to the D-DAY...wish us well
